Step 1: Access ChatGPT Tasks

Start by logging into your ChatGPT account and navigating to the Tasks feature.

• If you’re using the web version, find “Tasks” in the sidebar menu.

• On mobile, go to the “Tasks” tab within the app.

• Ensure your account has the required permissions to set recurring tasks.

Pro Tip: If you don’t see the Tasks feature, check OpenAI’s support page for availability in your region.

Step 2: Input Your Prompt

Once inside the Tasks section, create a new task and enter the following detailed prompt:

Prompt Example:

“Each Friday at 3 PM, provide me with a structured brainstorming session for next week’s blog and social media content, targeting young managers and C-level leaders interested in AI in the workplace.
Maintain a professional yet engaging tone that balances insightful leadership perspectives with practical takeaways.
Make sure the content:*
Speaks directly to decision-makers and business leaders, focusing on strategic impact rather than technical details.
Offers actionable insights and examples that resonate with their challenges (e.g., improving efficiency, driving innovation, or navigating AI adoption).
Is concise, value-driven, and avoids fluff, jargon, or overly promotional language.
Deliverables:
1. A trending topic related to AI in the workplace sourced from the latest web and social media insights. Do not fabricate information—ensure it’s aligned with industry conversations.
2. Five compelling blog post title ideas that capture attention and drive clicks, with a focus on leadership, strategy, and business transformation.
3. A detailed outline for one blog post, including key sections, suggested headings, and bullet points highlighting critical insights.
4. A persuasive call-to-action suggestion, guiding readers toward meaningful engagement (e.g., signing up for a newsletter, downloading a report, or joining a webinar).
5. A practical tip for increasing engagement, focusing on leveraging LinkedIn, thought leadership strategies, or interactive content formats.”

Task Settings:

Frequency: Select “Weekly” and set it to repeat every Friday at 3 PM.

Notification Method: Choose how you’d like to receive the output (email, in-app notification, or Slack integration if available).

Title: Name the task “Weekly AI Content Brainstorm.”

Step 3: Request an Example Output

Before finalizing the task, run it once to see an example of what ChatGPT will generate.

• Ask: Can you give me one example message for this week?

• Review the output to ensure it meets your expectations in terms of relevance and quality.

• If necessary, refine your prompt to include more specific details, such as target platforms (LinkedIn, blogs) or preferred content formats (lists, case studies).

Step 4: Monitor and Refine Results

Once the task is set, review the generated content each week and track its effectiveness.

• Assess if the suggested blog topics align with your brand’s voice and industry trends.

• Make adjustments to the prompt if needed, such as specifying a focus area (e.g., AI ethics, automation trends, or leadership challenges).

• If engagement is lower than expected, add more details about your audience’s pain points.

Step 5: Advance suggestions

You can enhance this workflow by

Bonus: Use the call-to-action suggestions to optimize audience interactions and track engagement levels to refine future content strategies.
