Kristalina Georgieva, the IMF managing director, believed that while half of the exposed jobs can benefit from AI, the other half might suffer from the lower labor demand, salary, and job opportunities. Georgieva stated that countries should ensure social safety nets to mitigate AI’s risk of worsening unequal wealth distribution.
